5 Small Tips and Tricks to Look Like A Million Bucks

As per request on my Instagram story poll, today I have an outfit related post. I have accumulated 5 tips and tricks that I use when I am trying to put effort into my outfit. I definitely use these small tips and tricks for when I am trying to look that little bit nicer or even make myself feel better. These tips are unisex and really transform that way you look.

1 – Try a Monochrome Outfit

When styling an outfit, you either intentionally or unintentionally choose an item that matches. Whether they match on colour schemes, print style, cut, fit or a shop you bought it from, in some form or another they match. I like to wear monochrome outfits quite often lately and if done right you can honestly look like a million bucks really easily. Believe it or not, you will stand out as you are not following a fashion trend. Follow the fashion trends can make you easily blend into the crowd. Also since monochrome is not a specific trend, you can get away wearing it the whole year round because you can choose a colour that suits you or a colour that you can rock at any occasion.

2 – Remove Wrinkles

Either invest in a steam iron or a regular iron. This will literally do wonders for your outfit. The moment there is a wrinkle or a fold in your outfit, you will look cheap, unprepared and most importantly your outfit will look off. You can under no circumstances have any wrinkles when you go for an interview or a formal occasion. Having minimal to no wrinkles will make you look more put together; no matter the occasion.

3 – Have the Right Underwear

If you are going to be wearing something that is sheer, or well fitted, it ensures that you can’t see those panty lines or bra straps. Either invest in shapewear to do the work for you or invest in the correct underwear. Having the correct underwear can do amazing things to your wardrobe. It can make clothes fit even better. It can make your clothes look even better. In turn, it can make you wear the whole wardrobe more often rather than those 5 tops on that one pair of jeans.

4 – Remove Lint

During winter or colder days, who doesn’t love to rug up in a thick jacket or a blanket scarf. Or who doesn’t love to wear leggings with the jumper dress you brought. These items are all nice and warm but if they have lint on them, you may as well wear your wrinkled clothes. Lint is like the winter or cold day equivalent to wrinkles.  If you have lint on your clothes you should remove them because that is just a sign of your clothes getting old and even though old is gold, in this case, that is certainly not the case.

5  – Dress to the Shape of your Body

When buying or choosing clothes you should pick clothes for your body shape. For instance, if you have an apple shape then you should find clothes that bring in the waist in. If you have a broad shoulder you should find clothes that have a V neck and again bring in the waist.

    1. Thank you so much for your feedback!! I can work on a blog post about tips for new bloggers. In terms of coding, I don’t do or understand anything. I found WordPress really user friendly. I suggest finding a website maker that suits your needs and the type of page you would like to make. I will reply with a link for the blog post about tips for new bloggers soon 🙂
