Types of Friendships You Should Never Take Advantage Of

Hello my lovelies!!! On the surface, it looks like I have a lot of friends and I’m always out and about. However, truth be told, that is not the case. Yes I have had a lot of friends but on and off. In saying that I do have some great friendships that just came to an end because of adulting. As G-Eazy said:

“We don’t take L’s, we just make M’s”

– Me, Myself & I by G-Eazy ft. Bebe Rexha

Adulting and friendships are hard. Are they your workmate? Or someone who does similar hobbies to you? I also have some great friendships that just came to an end because of adulting.

Anyways, now let’s get onto the post. Below is a list of friends that you should not let go and/or take advantage of:

  • The one who always tries to help you in any way possible and sometimes beyond their means
  • The one who constantly works with you to be a better version and continuously drives you to be the best version of yourself.
  • The one who has the right balance of positivity and negativity
  • The one who doesn’t leave during the hard times
  • The one who can make you laugh and can also be serious when you need it
  • The one who matches your maturity
  • The one who won’t judge you
  • The one who is not afraid to disagree with you and disagrees in respectively

As simple it sounds, I find it hard to find genuine friends. There’s people who talk to you for ease and those who genuinely are trying to be your friend. For instance, work colleagues or classmates versus actual friends?
