Hello, my lovelies!!
I don’t know about you, but I am a hoarder regarding clothes and anything else to do with my wardrobe. I have way too many bags, perfumes, jewellery, and clothes. I have clothes from all the different sizes of my life so far, different styles, and overall a different life. Today’s post will focus on clothes, but the tips can be applied to other aspects of your wardrobe and life.
I think it is time to go through my whole wardrobe and see what actually fits me and what doesn’t. Also, go through the clothes that fit me and see if I would and how I’d actually wear them. l’m always buying different clothing items but never think about the overall outfit.
To be honest, there’s not much to it other than that. However, here is a list of ways you can reduce your wardrobe:
- Clothes that don’t fit you anymore
- Damaged clothes – rips, stains, stretched out, missing buttons…
- Clothes you haven’t worn in the last 3 to 6 months…you know which ones, don’t lie
- Colours you told yourself you would try out in the store…
- Colours you don’t like anymore
Once you have cleared your wardrobe, think of 5 or so different ways you can style each piece of clothing. If you can’t think of that many different ways, think if you really need that item in your wardrobe.
All the clothes that have been removed can be donated to the lesser fortunate or those in need. Maybe someone you know would like the item.
